Brand new start

Okay so today is a brand new start for me . I am going to leave my past behind me from everything that has happened this year and just remember the miracles God has done . I have been through ups and downs this year but the downs were all because of me not focusing on God so i let myself down . Something i realized this year is that everytime i completly devoted myself to Him, He never failed me . God has been completely amazing this year and faithful . I am not going to write stories because it is way to long but i am going to say the lesson i have learned . What i learned is to love God with "all" your heart , and put " all " focus towards Him . It may seem so simple but their are many times where we could easily slip away and feed our own selfish desires . God simply wants all of our focus on Him . Recently i was going through a trial when someone told me ," Have you been praying and reading your Bible ?" Yes i have been praying and reading my Bible. But honestly it was full of thoughts and distractions. Then was i really praying and reading my Bible ? No. My answer was no and quickly i was told," If you have been then you would have no problem with this and let it go." That seems so simple but it was such a revelation for me. From then on and have learned to put God first and give Him my heart. God has His plans for me in His hands. I have no need to worry bout my trials but to put my focus on God and have Him walk with me each step of the way . Anyone who is saved already knows this revelation , so why am i wasting my words? Well i have to remind myself this time to time and i'd love to look back at this . We all need to take a step back and ask ourselves if our real focus is on God . He loves us and wants us to have that relationship with him and love Him back .It's a whole new start for me and God . I am giving him all of me <3
